The Jaguar XF 2.2 Diesel completes its US Road Trip
Last week we reported that Jaguar were taking an XF 2.2 Diesel to the US to drive from New York to Los Angeles to show just how economical the new, smaller engined diesel can be when driven on long, open roads. It was the U.S version of the economy run from Jaguar to Munich earlier this year, when economy-run specialists David and Alexander Madgwick managed to squeeze 57mpg out of the parsimonious XF. Which made us wonder if there was more to this run across the States than just another bash at shining the new XF’s eco-halo.
The new Subaru Legacy (pictured) has been revealed in Chicago
The new Subaru Legacy was teased last week ahead of its reveal at the Chicago Auto Show, and now it’s been revealed it’s a bit…disappointing. It’s disappointing because it has really lost the flair and swoopy style of the new Legacy Concept we saw at the L.A. Auto Show in November, replacing it with a slightly rakish traditional saloon.
This is the GMC Granite, a new concept car unveiled by GM at the 2010 Detroit Auto Show. Designed to move away from GMC's current range - which is dominated by pick-up trucks and full-size 4x4s - the Granite is much smaller than any GMC currently on sale. Yes, the Granite is just 4097mm long, making it shorter than a Ford Focus or BMW 1-series.
